While research effectively fulfils its mission by producing new knowledge, innovations, and technologies, the rate of adoption of these technologies is low due, largely, to the dysfunction of the national agricultural vulgarization system and the lack of public awareness of them. The transfer of their resources to the actual users for meeting needs or even for the growth of the national economy is not always well handled. A vast number of results are available from agricultural research, most of which have never been able to reach the intended audience. More and more business owners are finding that not all of them have access to the most tried-and-true innovations for growing their companies' diversity and competitiveness and increasing their revenue. They are the targets. The process of turning research findings into real goods, necessary services, or even novel projects that advance our society is known as "valuation of agricultural research outcomes." She considers the initiatives aimed at providing users with technological advancements and behavioural modification ideas that could help increase the productivity of their companies. On the other hand, the weak partnership between the private sector and research is one of the system's weaknesses in terms of valuing research results. In fact, there is a real problem with public-private partnerships in the fields of agricultural research and technological innovation. The main goal of the paper was to provoke thought on the role that the private sector plays in the agricultural breakthroughs and technology valuation. She focuses on : -i- the state of affairs for technology transfer approaches developed by research in the agricultural sector, -ii- the barriers to the private sector's access to research and innovation results in this agricultural sector; -iii- the strategies to strengthen research-private sector partnerships for monetizing research results; -iv- the appropriate mechanisms for a successful policy of valorizing research and innovation findings in support of agricultural sector development.
