The main objective was to assess the current conditions of a 4.68 km stretch of road connecting the Tokan intersection to the Gro Market in the Municipality of Abomey-Calavi, useful for a proposition of technical solutions and associated costs. The study included the collection of topographical, geometric, hydrological and hydraulic data through field surveys and documentary research. The topographical work served as a basis for the geometric studies defining the layout, the longitudinal and cross-sectional profile, as well as the volumes of materials required. Hydrological studies assessed rainfall and watershed characteristics to effectively manage surface water. Hydraulic studies had dimensioned the drainage network to prevent flooding. The results and technical solutions were discussed in detail, confirming the technical and financial feasibility of developing the section. A detailed financial estimate was carried out, including the costs of construction, materials and necessary infrastructure. The project is crucial to improve connectivity and stimulate economic development.
